ARE YOU READY TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD?
The Constructing Excellence Awards focus attention on some of the most important issues in the construction sector. They recognise the very best companies, collaborations and projects sharing best practice and inspiring others to adopt new and better ways of working that deliver outstanding results.
All types of organisations enter our awards throughout the UK each year; private and public sector; micro; SME and large; contractors; designers; professional advisors; clients; suppliers – in fact anyone and everyone that is part of construction’s extended family. From all those entrants, typically around 500+ organisations each year, our hard-pressed judges select the 108 they consider best represent the ethos and values of the Constructing Excellence movement to go forward to the National Constructing Excellence Awards.
Details of previous winners can be found in the Awards Winners section of the website.
THERE IS NO COST TO ENTER
There is no cost to enter the Constructing Excellence Awards. Also, you do not need to be a Constructing Excellence or regional Member to be able to enter.
These awards are as big as the sum of their parts. They may be big in your region but they are even larger nationally when all 9 regions come together – and you have an opportunity to take part!
WANT TO JOIN 3,500 OTHERS AND NETWORK?
Every year, the 9 Constructing Excellence regional partners collaborate to host their own awards ceremony – a gala dinner with anything from 300 to 650 people in attendance – adding up to more than 3500 construction people across the regions. Our attendees have a thoroughly enjoyable evening, raising some money for charity and celebrating all that is good in construction – patting each other on the back, giving congratulations.

FROM YOUR COMPANY’S ACHIEVEMENTS?

- SME of the Year
- Digital Construction Project /Initiative of the Year
- Young Achiever of the Year
- Integration & Collaborative Working
- People Development
- Preservation & Rejuvenation

It is not just your company that can benefit from an entry – which Client would be really impressed by you nominating them for Client of the Year? Which member of your supply chain is such an impressive SME that you want to nominate them for SME of the Year? Which team has been so joined and integrated this year that you can impress them all by nominating them for the Integration & Collaboration award? Do you have a rising star in your organisation that has what it takes to be a leader for tomorrow’s industry then now is your chance to prove it and enter them for Young Achiever of the Year?
EASIER THAN EVER TO ENTER
This year we have made the entry requirements easier than ever, with word count and number of questions both down 30% on previous years.
There are just seven questions in each category! The first is scene setting/background information to frame the circumstances of your entry and to explain what was the project or organisational initiative about.
This is then followed by five questions, each worth 20% of the marks, and directly relating to the specified entry criteria, so it is easy to stay focused and score marks.
The final question is your chance to wax lyrical about what you have done – tell us why it’s different to your peers, why it should win, why it stands out from the crowd and represents excellence in construction.
