Constructing Excellence in the North West is maintained by the
School of the Built Environment at the University of Salford. The tenth annual regional awards were held in dramatic style in the Titanic Hotel, Stanley Dock, Liverpool, and the third annual Construction Summit was delivered with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. We have encouraged a strong “northern powerhouse” influence on these activities, which is reflected in the agenda of the thriving local Constructing Excellence clubs and in Liverpool and Manchester with local devolution and the upcoming city mayoral elections.
