Construction and the built environment have a huge role to play in tackling the climate crisis and delivering high quality sustainable buildings and infrastructure. It is a key concern for all built environment stakeholders and influences decision-making in all areas of the asset life cycle from design, procurement, construction and operation.

Join the Constructing Excellence Climate Action group for their next meeting on Wednesday 19th November where we will be exploring the design work behind the sustainable regeneration of the Carpenters Estate in the London Borough of Newham. In addition, we’ll hear from the team responsible for developing and implementing a borough-wide Retrofit Design Code in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham.
