This online course provides comprehensive training on Constructing the Gold Standard, an independent review of construction frameworks by Prof David Mosey CBE, implementing Construction Playbook policy commitments, endorsed by Cabinet Office and over 50 industry bodies. The recommendations have been turned into a robust verification scheme ran by Constructing Excellence.
Delivered across 12 concise chapters, the curriculum addresses knowledge gaps identified across the procurement ecosystem: from senior leaders shaping policy and driving excellence, to framework managers implementing procedures, funders ensuring better outcomes, clients and advisors selecting robust procurement mechanisms, and contractors and supply chain partners working with high-quality frameworks.
Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the 24 Gold Standard recommendations, what a high-quality commercial framework looks like, and the independent verification process already adopted by organisations including Crown Commercial Service, SCAPE, CHIC, LHC, and Places for People. Upon successful completion, learners receive an official certificate.
