Value Toolkit Pilot Phase Launch

Constructing Excellence

Today marks a significant milestone for the Value Toolkit as it launches its pilot phase.

We want to extend a huge thanks to all of those from across the Constructing Excellence movement who have contributed to the development of the Value Toolkit as it reaches this important milestone. The brilliant team who worked directly on the market enablers workstream, our advisory group, our regional partners who are developing regional value profiles and national, regional and club members who participated in workshops and events.

Directly supporting a key policy objective common to both the Government’s Construction Playbook and the CLC Roadmap to Recovery, the Value Toolkit will allow policymakers and clients to make informed decisions at every stage of the project lifecycle.

The Value Toolkit offers a series of user-friendly tools and processes that will enable value-based decision making at all stages of projects and programmes and ultimately deliver a better-built environment.  This is wholly aligned with our mission and vision at Constructing Excellence, and we encourage all those involved in the Constructing Excellence movement to get involved.

Construction Innovation Hub is looking for the wider sector to partner with the Hub to help fine-tune the Value Toolkit to deliver maximum benefits for a wide range of clients. The Value Toolkit can be used in the public and private sector at a portfolio level, as well as on projects or programmes.

Registration for the pilot is open until the 21st of May 2021. During the six-month pilot period, clients and client advisors can test the Toolkit on live projects and programmes supported by the Value Toolkit community. Feedback and insights from the pilot will be used to fine-tune the Value Toolkit ahead of its public launch in December.
