Tom joined Gleeds in 2002 as a trainee after completing his A-levels and enrolled on a part-time degree course in quantity surveying and construction cost management at The Nottingham Trent University. After becoming a chartered surveyor in 2009 he moved to the company’s Birmingham office and has played a pivotal role in the expansion of the office since then – his hard work being rewarded when he was promoted to Director in 2016. One of the youngest Directors in any of the 60 Gleeds offices worldwide. As well as dealing with the pressures of project related work and the running of a business unit, Tom is actively involved in company’s training and development programme and is dedicated to the development of our staff & their wellbeing. He also recognises our corporate social commitments as a business and is never too far away from a new challenge, whether that be a 200ft abseil or running a marathon! Tom is people focussed and a great young ambassador for our industry.
