New Victoria has transformed an under-utilised gateway site into a vibrant residential quarter. Comprising 520 new build-to-rent apartments across two towers, the development includes an an inter-connected amenity link bridge with roof-level private garden.

- Located on a highly restricted site beside Manchester Victoria Station, Metrolink lines and Corporation Street, the team overcame significant logistical challenges in delivering the project, notably in diverting existing services, beside a live railway and team lines, tackling culvert diversions and engaging with multiple stakeholder groups, which, through collaborative working, while effectively managing delivery, achieved an incredible 25-week reduction in the programme .
- Through the introduction of simple yet highly-effective initiatives in tackling the climate emergency, which can be transferred across other projects across the industry, including on-site energy measures and waste-reduction initiatives through a combined approach to utilisation of off-site manufacturing and significantly reducing unnecessary packaging
- Through recognizing key social and economic challenges in the area to develop a truly sustainable and highly effective social value activities, which have now been firmly embedded across all team members with the achievement of remarkable results, which have again been transferred and developed to other projects, both within VINCI and to other contractors.
