Chloe Cory
In 2021, I graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Construction Project Management. Since then, I have been working as the New Business Manager at Trinity Homes, where we specialise in delivering new-build residential developments for local authorities, housing associations, and private developers throughout Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
My primary role involves tendering for a range of residential projects, which includes estimating project costs and preparing bids that address the client’s quality requirements. However, I am also committed to inspiring young people to consider careers in the construction industry. I’ve partnered with schools, colleges, and universities to organise site visits, offer work experience, give career talks, and engage in various career activities. It’s essential to help the next generation view the construction industry positively and recognise the rewarding career opportunities it offers.
At the same time, I believe there’s often too little attention given to supporting those already in the industry. Networking can be intimidating for many, which is why I’m passionate about creating safe spaces where individuals feel confident and comfortable building connections. That’s why, in October 2024, I joined G4C as a committee member. Networking plays a critical role in professional growth, and through this experience, I’ve already had the pleasure of meeting incredible people. It’s been especially rewarding to witness others expand their networks as well.
