Alex is the executive Director of Operations for The Housing Association Charitable Trust or HACT. As HACT enters its sixty-fifth year, its mission remains the same, to create lasting impact for people and communities. Alex and the HACT team support this by convening and providing tools and services to the housing sector that addresses different challenges and opportunities with social value and wellbeing at the centre. Alex’s drive for a better sector and society, combines his experience across the Built Environment in the public, private and now third sector. Alex’s thematic areas of focus are digital, PDfMA and sustainability. Alex has spent the last decade supporting the sector to connect decision makers with best practice through roles in strategy and policy for the Cabinet Office, as Managing Director of a UK technology platform and as Global Director for construction overseeing testing and certification processes. Alex has carried out various non-executive board roles and currently also sits as a member of the board for the Digital Twin Skills Academy CIC.
