Laura is a Senior Cost Manager within Turner & Townsend’s Real Estate division, based in the Northeast. Not only is she a capable Senior Cost Manager within the team, but a clearly respected member of the wider industry. She consistently gets great client feedback through her impeccable project delivery.
She is highly driven and determined to create a socially sustainable industry, alongside her main role, Laura devotes much of her personal time to improving the image of the industry and advocating for careers in construction through the following:
- Member of the Northumbria University employer liaison board
- Member of the RICS Matric committee for the Northeast;
- T&T People & Purpose lead for the North;
- Mentoring junior staff, external students and reverse mentoring;
- Actively involved in corporate responsibility focussing on school engagement and leading in organising the 2023 Charity Dinner raising over £11,500 for Action for Children;
- Sits on Queen Alexandra 6th Form Local Advisory Board providing current industry knowledge
