Laura is a Senior Cost Manager within Turner & Townsend’s Real Estate division, based in the Northeast. Not only is she a capable Senior Cost Manager within the team, but a clearly respected member of the wider industry. She consistently gets great client feedback through her impeccable project delivery.

She is highly driven and determined to create a socially sustainable industry, alongside her main role, Laura devotes much of her personal time to improving the image of the industry and advocating for careers in construction through the following:

  • Member of the Northumbria University employer liaison board
  • Member of the RICS Matric committee for the Northeast;
  • T&T People & Purpose lead for the North;
  • Mentoring junior staff, external students and reverse mentoring;
  • Actively involved in corporate responsibility focussing on school engagement and leading in organising the 2023 Charity Dinner raising over £11,500 for Action for Children;
  • Sits on Queen Alexandra 6th Form Local Advisory Board providing current industry knowledge

  2. Provided a training programme for Real Estate graduates and apprentices to enhance their workplace skills and build confidence in their ability to deliver projects.
  3. Active member of multiple boards advocating for more socioeconomic diverse recruitment within the construction industry including the multi-company shadowing intensives breaking down organisational barriers, which Laura rolled out with G4C.
