Godfrey Syrett were established in 1947, recently celebrating 70 years of designing and manufacturing furniture in the North East of England. We have grown from a small supplier to a multi-million pound company, and expanded from the original manufacturing and office site in Killingworth, Newcastle to a further two sites – a panel facility in Langley Moor and a warehousing and distribution hub in Belmont, both in Durham.
Managing the organic growth of the business has at times been challenging, as we fulfil the everyday requirements alongside various other projects designed to support the further growth of the business. However, we have put significant growth ambitions in place, based on a program of continuous investment, and are confident that we can hit these.
