For over four decades Gilbert and Goode have provided innovative design, development, builds, maintenance and refurbishment – delivering quality services through a versatile and highly skilled workforce. Since 2012 the company has established a New Homes Team, providing an in-house sales function.
Staff are a key component in the companies continued growth, enabling it to secure high profile projects & frameworks, whilst expanding its services.
G&G has always, and continues to invest in the regions young talent through apprenticeship schemes, creating opportunities whilst investing in its future growth. G&G has retained a high proportion of apprentice staff, offering continuous development to support career growth.
As well as its own workforce, G&G collaborates with universities, colleges and schools to inspire and empower young people, sharing sector knowledge and experience, as well as strategic level working with CE and the LEP to help industry advancement throughout Cornwall.
The highlight of our year was our ISO18404 accreditation. With help from CITB we have not only improved our own companies’ productivity but that of our supply chain and also written then manual for others to follow in achieving the ISO standard.
