Sustainable and Decarbonised Construction 2023/24

Event Summary

This online focus group is the first in a series of roundtable and webinar events on the theme of Sustainable and Decarbonised Construction produced in partnership between the Institution of Mechanical Engineers – Construction & Building Services Division, Constructing Excellence, and COMIT.

The purpose of these events is to bring together engineers and project professionals to network and go-see, share knowledge, discuss ideas, and set joint actions around the Sustainable and Decarbonised Construction programme focus areas, themes, and the construction value chain.

During this session  we will be specifically seeking to further frame the agenda of the Sustainable and Decarbonised Construction 2024 programme; focussing on the engineering and project challenges, technical developments, and solutions required for sustainable Net-Zero ambitions, and ensuring that the programme meets the interests of the participating community.

We will be further seeking hosts and sponsors nationally, for future roundtable events; and presenting organisations for webinars across 2024.

Attendance

We seek attendance from across the construction value chain from those working towards construction sector sustainability and decarbonisation, especially those engaged in the identification, development, management and implementation of engineering and technical challenges, innovation, and solutions.
