How will COVID 19 impact Offsite Manufacturing & Technology?

The world has been turned on its head in just 3 short weeks, forcing us all to live and work differently. As we come to terms with our new reality it provides an opportunity to focus on what we want and need to change within our own organisations and the wider sector.

The Constructing Excellence Offsite Manufacturing & Technology Group proposes to hold an online forum to discuss how this time can be used to consider the opportunities to shape a better industry coming out of this crisis. Key issues for discussion include:

• How could the current crisis transform offsite approaches?

• How will it impact on the way in which companies approach construction?

• How will it transform employees working patterns and the uptake of technologies?

We will be inviting members to share their insights around some of the key areas that this crisis has highlighted including, numbers of operatives on sites, safe working practices and remote working.
