Construct IT For Business is an industry-led non-profit making collaborative membership-based network whose aim is to improve industry performance through the innovative application of IT and act as a catalyst for academic and industrial collaboration.
In response to the UK Construction Strategy launch in May 2011, a momentum has been building to transform the sector driven by the Government’s commitment and mandate to digital information delivery and BIM on public procured projects by 2016. In particular, deriving value over the whole life of assets is a core focus, which presents significant opportunities when considering large asset estates in sectors such as health and education.
The Spring 2015 Construct IT meeting will explore BIM in managing asset estates in the Higher Education sector from both a UK and global perspective together with experiences from other sectors. The meeting will be held on Thursday,23rd April 2015 at UCL in London.
