Constructing Excellence

Bouygues UK is a leading construction and property development company in the United Kingdom.

Our aim is to address the urgent challenges of climate change and create positive impacts within the communities we work. We do this by incorporating clear carbon guidelines and working closely with clients, supply chain partners and employees to help reduce our impact on the environment and enable communities to thrive.

As the largest project Carmarthenshire County Council has ever undertaken and with significant investment from Swansea Bay City Deal, Bouygues were committed to delivering an exemplary project which had ESG at its core. This commitment has been evidenced by the overachievement of the contractual employment and training weeks, 5205/4680 and the project achieving net zero in construction.

Three Winning Facts:
  1. Net Zero Achievement: Demonstrates commitment to environmental sustainability through innovative design and construction practices. Our team made significant effort early in the project to produce a Carbon Reduction and Management Plan. Setting out the framework for managing and reducing project-related greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and documenting the key carbon reduction measures to be implemented and the tools which will be used to support our ambitions.
  2. Commitment to community: Through our social value activity we were able to successfully deliver on our objectives to provide, education, employment and community impact opportunities.
  3. Collaborative Effort: Showcases partnership and engagement with local authorities and stakeholders. All delivery has been achieved by working collaboratively.
