Constructing Excellence

I joined AtkinsRéalis as a Degree Apprentice in March 2021, and was promoted to Assistant Project Manager within my second year of university, which is very rare as most people are promoted after completing their Apprenticeships. I am now in my final year of my BSc Construction Management degree and eight months through my APC, as well as undertaking many client projects, internal and external strategies.

I have been appointed in the role of “Next Gen” representative for the Regional Project Management (PM) Technical Leadership Group where the company’s PM strategies: accounts, projects and resources are discussed with Senior Colleagues and the reported to the Operational Leadership Team.

I am part of the RICS Matrics Committee and support the chair of the G4C Constructing Excellence in East and West midlands.

Three Winning Facts:
  1. Promoted to Assistant Project Manager within my second year of my Apprenticeship.
  2. Lead the Next Gen within two-regions, across the South-West, Wales and Midlands.
  3. Specifically chosen by multiple Regional Managing Directors to be mentored and trained to be a Future Leader of the Company.
