Kingsley Healthcare started in 1999 with the purchase of its first care home in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Based in Lowestoft, the company has successfully expanded to deliver a broad range of residential care services for elderly residents and individuals with special needs in care homes across the East of England and beyond. Kingsley Healthcare now own and run 34 care homes with over 1,400 residents.
The company has changed its focus from buying and refurbishing existing care homes with a programme to deliver high-specification, new-build care homes across the East of England.
R G Carter Ltd were selected by Kingsley Healthcare to build Kings Court, their flagship care home and their most recent, in Holt, North Norfolk. Completed in February 2024 the home has 66 luxury bedrooms and extensive gardens with attractive landscaping and planting. There is also a hairdressing and therapy salon, cinema, library, community café, a private dining room and communal spaces & kitchens on every floor.
