Oliver is the youngest of nine Directors at Employee Owned Plandescil Consulting Engineers. Oliver manages a department of 10 employees, including two engineers, four technicians, one apprentice technician and two admin assistants. Oliver has seen his team grow from a single apprentice engineer to what it is now and has overseen the Company’s implementation of engineering apprenticeships and in-house training scheme.
Over the past 8 years, Oliver has been at the forefront of the design of green energy-producing Anaerobic Digestion (AD) facilities, having had input on approximately 60% of England’s constructed AD facilities. Oliver is now considered one of the industries foremost experts on the design of the facilities and their adherence to Environment Agency guidelines.
Oliver has overseen the diversification of work undertaken by his team. He has championed the acquisition and training of emerging technologies such as Aerial Surveying Drones, 3D Survey Scans and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Utilities Surveys. Oliver has overseen the training of his department in each of the new technologies, which have allowed them to be used alongside traditional engineering practices.
