To facilitate greater control of operations, improve the well-being of employees, strengthen long-term relationships with our supply chain – resulting in innovation and a maximum utilisation of resources, we shrunk our geographical area to focus on the Midlands. This enabled us to target major projects, with contract values between £3–£15m, and strategic divisions.
We also embedded a “right first time” attitude, resulting in increased quality, improved productivity and created an organisation focussed on utilising the latest technologies and the attainment of the highest possible safety standards, benchmarked against accreditations, including: Achilles Building Confidence, ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001.
Investment in our people through training, apprentices and career development continued apace, along with our focus on utilising the latest technologies. Our carbon footprint was also audited to ISO 14064-3:2006.
By raising our standards, we have taken a more strategic approach with key players, like Morgan Sindall, Lovell, Jaguar Land Rover, SDC and Kier Construction.
The results. Turnover increased by 116.57% over the last 5 years and profit rose by a staggering 1125.26%.
