I am a highly self-motivated, capable and competent Project Manager (PM). In a professional capacity, I have conveyed an outstanding work ethic which enables me to quickly understand complex technical aspects of my projects. I am able to synergise my learning across multiple projects to enhance my individual performance.
My personality, capability and PM style have enabled me to create positive and trusting client and project team relationships as well as helping win future work. I plan to continue developing my unique, hands-on, engaging style of PM and hope to be RICS Chartered by the end of 2023following completion of my MSc. I chose to write my MSc dissertation on the topic of gender diversity in construction’s professionals’ services sector as it is a topic that I have been passionate about since joining the industry.
Outside of my PM role, Iam the Chair of the G4C Midlands and RLB Young Professionals networking groups and use these platforms to primarily give young professionals a space to talk about topics that are important to them, help them to find their place within the industry and ultimately build their network of contacts. In addition, my role as the RLB’s Birmingham Bucknall’s First Rung representative has enabled me to promote the construction industry to the next generation and begin to reshape the industry’s image.
