MHR Global is a family-owned business, headquartered in Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, which supplies payroll, HR and analytics systems to more than 1,400 companies, from SMEs to large multi-national corporations. It boasts 98% customer loyalty and processes monthly payments for 2.8 million employees per month.
Founded in 1984 by the Group Chairman, Mr John Mills, the company moved to its current headquarters, Ruddington Hall, in 1992 and later acquired another set of offices in the same area of Ruddington Fields Business Park.
Stepnell started working with MHR in 2015, refurbishing and expanding the first of six projects in Ruddington, as part of the company’s £30m combined expansion programme to accommodate its growing team and provide a flexible and creative working environment that enhances productivity. During this time, MHR’s employment figures have increased in excess of 30%.
Since that first project, Stepnell has had a long-standing and collaborative partnership with MHR, and truly understands the company’s key drivers and requirements of its estate. The Mere Way development currently comprises five high-end buildings, including parking specifically to suit employees, all of which have been developed continuously throughout on a live site.
The last few phases of the scheme of work have incorporated renewable energy measures, such as solar panels, to future-proof the company’s increasing energy demands and lower its carbon footprint.
