Rebecca Lovelace
Rebecca is the founder of BuildingPeople, a disruptive and integrated solution to reducing skills shortages, increasing diversity and maximising economic and social value across the Built Environment. BuildingPeople is a Community Interest Company, in strategic collaboration with EY and in partnership with industry, which is developing a technology platform and collaborative network to enable connections between industry and local, previously untapped talent.
Rebecca is also the owner of Circle Three Consulting Ltd, a niche strategic construction employment and skills consultancy, and a co-founder of BuildForce, the industry initiative to facilitate connections between Service leavers and veterans and industry employers. Prior to founding Circle Three Rebecca worked at Lendlease as a Community Development Manager where she co-founded Be Onsite, a non-profit company providing training and job opportunities for disadvantaged people in the property sector. Before discovering the world of construction Rebecca worked in the humanitarian aid and homelessness sectors. Rebecca’s passion is ‘joining the dots’ between existing industry initiatives to develop seamless pathways that connect people who are out of work with industry employers struggling with the impact of skills shortages.
