Jane Goddard is the deputy CEO of the Building Research Establishment (BRE) and managing director of the Building Services and Products division. BRE is global leader in building science. Since joining BRE in 2019, initially as Group Commercial Director, she has played a key role in advancing the organisation’s mission to improve buildings through research. Promoted to her current role in November 2023, Jane has contributed to high-impact projects, including presenting BRE’s report on the cost of poor housing to the NHS on ITV.

With a strong background in IT, finance, transport, and energy, Jane previously held key roles at the Energy Saving Trust, where she led major campaigns for government departments focused on energy efficiency.
