David is Turner & Townsend’s Global Managing Director for Energy & Natural Resources, helping our global clients from and deliver major projects and programmes that support the global energy transition. This involves working across sectors including clean, conventional and low carbon energy, transmission, and mining. He is responsible for overseeing Turner & Townsend’s relationship with key clients such as Anglo American, Rio Tinto, Tennet, Shell and BP. He sits on Turner & Townsend’s Executive Committee and Management Board and previously led its UK Infrastructure business.

He has worked across major programmes including Heathrow Expansion, Terminal 5 and Terminal 2, London 2012, Crossrail, HS2 and HPC. Additionally, he worked across the regulated utilities sector in the UK, being involved in helping a number of water companies establish their portfolios and drive performance improvement.

He is actively involved in industry improvement initiatives, and is a co-chair of Constructing Excellence.
