Our series of case studies look at the key learning points from our 2020 award winners and highly commended. The Grange University Hospital is the largest capital project in Wales, a 450-bed specialist critical care centre, it has been delivered in exemplary fashion by maximising the extent of the project which
has been manufactured offsite. Past experiences and lessons learned from other projects helped to produce compact layouts, minimising the length of corridors and maximising the amount of time nursing staff spend with patients.
