Frazer joined Seddon in 2021 as an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor after beating 350+ applicants in the process. He is currently in his fourth, penultimate year of his degree apprenticeship in Quantity Surveying, studying at University of Wolverhampton.

Frazer has shown a desire to progress and actively looks for opportunities to learn and develop. His work ethic and positive attitude is evident in his ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload whilst maintaining strong relationships with team members, subcontractors and customers.

Fraser is an invaluable member of the team, demonstrating his passion and knowledge in his projects. He drives innovation, collaboration and sustainability on projects, and his tenacious push to strive for better is commended by customers and employees alike.

In 2024, Frazer was promoted to Assistant Quantity Surveyor, recognising his commitment, and a will to learn and develop. He is now responsible for all communication with customers on his projects and has received great praise from Derby City Council, a long-standing customer, who showed great admiration for his approachable manner, exceptional attitude and high-quality work.

Three Winning Facts:
  1. Demonstrates professionalism through a mature and reasoned approach: Frazer has shown patience and politeness even when faced with challenging discussions from members of the supply chain disputing contractual terms they’d previously agreed to. Frazer has also led in difficult costing meetings with customers, ensuring no conflicts arise through collaborative meetings, encouraging open and honest communication to reach an agreement.
  2. Taking the lead on projects: Working on Spondon Library project where the client team consist of two experienced managers and Frazer confidently took the lead on behalf of Seddon, chairing meetings and providing leadership for the Seddon team, despite his young age.
  3. Excellent attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities: Frazer is always keen to learn and develop, volunteering to attend ‘Meet the Buyer’ events to improve his networking abilities and develop strong relationships with customers. He has also delivered projects where he takes on responsibilities that are outside of his Quantity Surveying, demonstrating a wide breadth of knowledge, taking on operational responsibilities such as programme meetings with customers.
