Trusted and Responsible Data and Artificial Intelligence in Construction- Latest Developments

On 12th March the CE Digital Group will be taking part in a workshop on the latest developments in ‘Trusted and Responsible Data and Artificial Intelligence in Construction’.

Artificial Intelligence is everywhere at the moment! Leaving organisations in the construction sector unsure of where to invest their time and effort to ensure their AI strategy delivers genuine impact and limit the potential risks. Constructing Excellence has been collaborating with colleagues at BRE on an Innovate UK-funded project TRAMS Enterprise, which aims to help overcome this challenge.

The TRAMS-Enterprise project has developed a unified, sector-wide framework for managing trusted and responsible data, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) solutions for the construction industry. The initiative leveraged the work being undertaken in this area in the finance sector, expertise and needs of leading contractors and industry bodies to address challenges hindering the development, adoption, and diffusion of AI/ML solutions in on-site construction.

Key Project Deliverables:

• A functional and widely adopted framework, with future models explored for broader industry use.
• Proof-of-concept AI-based solutions developed and demonstrated by the participating SMEs within the TRAMS-Enterprise framework.

The workshop will address issues and data sharing tools for managing trusted and responsible data, artificial intelligence (AI), learning from the finance sector and case studies applying the Trams Enterprise framework.
