Offsite Manufacturing & Technology Group- April

Chaired by Alex Small of Tata Steel, this group is looking at how we can best leverage the knowledge that sits throughout the supply chain and the manufacturing base to add more value to projects and programmes.

Join us for the next session, on Monday 13th April, where we will hear from speakers; Ron Lang (Atkins Realis), Mike Pitts (Innovate UK – UKRI) and Keith Waller (High Value Manufacturing Catapult – HVM Catapult). They will share their plans for the Mission Accelerator Programme, recently launched under the UK Research and Innovation Mission Accelerator Programme: Industrialising & Digitalising Construction.

This programme seeks to establish a digital marketplace to support the large‑scale development and deployment of industrialised building components and processes. It will include a collaborative platform where construction, manufacturing, technology companies, and suppliers can jointly create, refine, and configure standardised digital designs for both buildings and infrastructure. The aim is to reduce errors, cut waste, and accelerate the delivery of major projects.
