Constructing Excellence welcomes the ICE’s latest paper “Brexit: The Case for Infrastructure” which outlines the socio-economic benefits of infrastructure to the UK. ICE calls on Government and policy makers to demonstrate their commitment to infrastructure by:
- Continuing to place infrastructure investment at the heart of economic strategy
- Continuing to invest in long term infrastructure programmes
- Supporting the National Infrastructure Commission and delivering a National Infrastructure Assessment, supported by ICE’s National Needs Assessment
- Continuing to place infrastructure at the heart of its plans for devolution, as called for in their recent State of the Nation: Devolution report
