One City Park is a state-of-the-art building providing Grade A office space, raising Bradford’s profile as a destination City. As Bradford’s first Grade A office development in 20 years, the landmark city centre building was delivered on time, and budget, a major feat for a scheme of this scale in a prominent, constrained city centre location.
Developed by national placemaking specialists, Muse, and in partnership with City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, additional funding came from West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership. Together, the team created this prime office, the first of its kind in the city and a catalyst to stimulate further development.
The project was delivered by main contractor, Caddick Construction, and was designed with sustainability at its core achieving BREEAM excellent, Wiredscore and Smartscore Gold standard. One City Park demonstrates a successful public/private partnership that will reap long-term benefits by providing incredible job opportunities for the younger, growing population in the city. Recently named ‘Best place to start a business’ (with 16,000 businesses setting up here and employing 250,000 people nationally) Bradford is outpacing national growth and will play a major role in the UK City of Culture celebrations in 2025.
