Stomor Ltd was established in early 2008 and is proud to provide a personal and professional consultancy service to a variety of Clients including Developers, Architects, Planners and Local Authorities, helping them to achieve infrastructure solutions on problematic sites. The company has taken on an increasing number of high-profile clients in the private sector, while maintaining a consistent public sector workload. The company thrives on having an excellent reputation for quality, whilst also aiming to identify cost savings to Clients whenever possible during the design process and within our design solutions.
The directors and project managers have a thorough understanding of highways, sustainable transport, flood risk, utilities, and infrastructure design, which enables them to deliver holistic advice taking wider considerations into account.
The team is small but passionate about delivering high quality work, with a view to providing systemic changes to how communities use energy and impact the planet. Both our transport and flood risk teams use innovative and sustainable methods to both cut down on emissions during a project, extend the lifespan of a completed project, and introduce green infrastructure to new developments.
From its inception, Stomor has been committed to encouraging graduates into the profession, providing support and training, particularly with a view to encourage more young women and girls into STEM professions. Stomor employs four full-time graduate engineers, with summer internships and work experience roles for students wishing to enter the industry.
