Ruth is the national co-chair of G4C. G4C provides a unique environment whereby those who are new to the industry can find camaraderie, share ideas and use the network as a platform for getting their voices heard in the industry. The G4C network is an opportunity to be at the forefront of innovative industry thinking and best practices in the sector. Through this role, Ruth has a particular personal interest in promoting and advocating careers in the construction industry to young people through improved accessibility, better industry image and raising awareness of the breadth of professions and roles available. Professionally, Ruth has worked in the industry for over a decade and has been a construction solicitor for over 5 years. She is currently a Legal Counsel for Kier, supporting both their infrastructure and highways businesses. Ruth also has an academic interest in construction law, having recently completed an MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution at King’s College London.
