Lincoln College Group (LCG) encompasses Lincoln and Newark colleges, which deliver technical training courses, apprenticeships, T Levels, A Levels, Higher Education degrees and commercial training to around 12,000 students and apprentices every year.

The heart of the Group is the 136-year-old College in the heart of the city of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, governed by a Board of Corporation made up of respected business leaders, recruited from the private, public and third sectors in the region. The Group has around 1,000 full and part-time staff and its People Plan is focused priorities to support the capacity, recognition and wellbeing of its people. LCG aims to achieve happiness, loyalty and productivity in its workforce.

Air and Space Institute (ASI) is an international centre of excellence to train people to enter the air and space industry. Our training has clear progression routes into the workplace from Level 2 through to degree level with jump-off gateways into several aviation roles. Our education and training are delivered by industry experts with years of flying & aircraft engineering experience in the air and space sector.

The interim facility over at Newark College opened 4 years ago with the ASI building being funded by the Towns Funding through Newark and Sherwood District Council. Building began in October 2022 and the new facility costing 15.4 million pounds now has students occupying the building with over 200 students expected to occupy the building from September 2024.

The Towns Fund project, born from a desire to enhance educational and employment prospects, has transformed Newark into a hub of innovation and aspiration.

Designing and building a new state of the art college facility for the next generation involved within the Air & Space Industry: ASI boasts a cutting-edge infrastructure designed to simulate real-world scenarios. From an Airbus A320 for hands-on training to state-of-the-art flight simulators, every aspect of the facility is geared toward empowering students with practical skills and knowledge.
