SUMMARY:CE Performance Measurement – Online event
DESCRIPTION:Performance Measurement \nAt the Performance Measurement Forum in November 2022 we will be re-launching our focus on Performance Measurement! \nWe will be joined by Simon Cross\, Director at Mott MacDonald. Join us for a productive online discussion\, bring your vision and suggestions on the subject. \n \n  \n“Simon Cross is a Director at Mott MacDonald focusing on accelerating construction transformation with clients by deploying digital\, MMC\, DfMA and delivery models to improve productive and sustainable outcomes. Formerly\, he was Innovation and Digital Director with Cast Consulting and led BRE’s strategic advisory group\, and latterly Smartsite\, a Software as a Service business.”

SUMMARY:Hydrogen in Construction – Constructing Excellence Roundtable
DESCRIPTION:**This is an invitation only event** \nSkanska UK in collaboration with BAM Nuttall and the Building Research Establishment (BRE) are leading the Red Diesel Replacement Phase 1 projects funded by the Department for Business\, Energy\, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). The programme aims to explore and develop low-carbon alternatives to red diesel for construction. \nThis roundtable will provide an opportunity to find out more about the Phase 1 projects and share your views on how you could see Hydrogen being implemented in the construction sector. We will be seeking your views on how you could see benefits for your projects\, what conditions would need to be in place to convince you to use the low carbon alternatives and any limitations there might be. \n\nWhy Hydrogen?\n“Greener\, because the requirements of the net zero commitment will be considered in every stage of the project life cycle and underpin decisions on the technical solutions chosen to achieve the required outcomes”. National Infrastructure Strategy \n\nHydrogen is central to reaching net zero emissions because it can abate 80 gigatons of CO2 by 2050\nHydrogen’s full potential can only be realized if action is taken across three fronts to: stimulate demand\, enable access through infrastructure\, and create scale to bring down costs and close the economic gap of hydrogen decarbonization solutions versus conventional alternatives.\nThe world needs rapid emissions reductions and clean hydrogen has a crucial role to play\, particularly in hard-to-abate sectors.\nHydrogen can play a fundamental role in enabling countries and industries to meet their net-zero emission targets by 2050. While not in itself the solution to abate all emissions across sectors\, hydrogen uniquely complements and enables other decarbonization pathways such as direct electrification\, energy efficiency measures\, and biomass-based fuels.\n\nSource: Hydrogen for net zero report

SUMMARY:AWP Europe CoP Drop in – Online
DESCRIPTION:ECI is collaborating with Group ASI to deliver an insight into Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) from a European Perspective. The uptake of AWP is considerably lower in Europe than in any other global region. The European AWP Community of Practice have been examining this and how we help European stakeholders to realize AWP benefits\, hence embracing it. \nThis is the first of a regular series of AWP Community of Practice Drop Ins. We will be looking at the latest developments in Advanced Work Packaging and sharing news\, knowledge and insight. \nSpoiler: you are not alone! There is a community out there going through similar situations. The European AWP Community of Practice provides a forum for open discussion\, so we can collectively advance into a path of improved project execution in our region. \nWant to see how you can adopt AWP?\nJoin us!
