DESCRIPTION:Sir Robert McAlpine is hosting the CE Manufacturing & Technology Group at the ground-breaking Forge project.  \nThe Forge is a 139\,000 square foot\, high-quality office development\, comprising two buildings set to be finished to Cat A – not too unusual a proposition for central London. But its construction is anything but routine: it’s the world’s first large-scale office scheme to be built using a standardised “kit of parts”\, an approach known as platform design for manufacture and assembly (P-DfMA).  Visit: Changing the face of construction at The Forge – Sir Robert McAlpine (srm.com) \nCE Members will have a unique opportunity to see the platform approach in action\, find out more from the team behind this ground-breaking project and consider how this could be applied on future projects.   \n
