SUMMARY:Event: Offsite Manufacturing & Technology Group - Implementing MMC
DESCRIPTION:n 2021 the Offsite Manufacturing & Technology Group will be focusing on the implementation of MMC. For our kick off meeting in December we will be taking a close look at how main contractors are dealing with MMC and funding opportunities from the MTC on robust and resilient supply chains. \nSo far confirmed we have: \n• Tim Carey\, will be introducing us to Collida\, Collida is a new business within Willmott Dixon leading a technology-based revolution in how the industry designs\, procures and delivers community buildings of superior quality\, sustainability and liveability. We develop platform-based product solutions for Customers which embrace full DfMA methodologies\, high Pre-Manufactured Value (PMV)\,and market-leading levels of sustainability. \n• Susan Hone-Brooke\, will be taking us through support available to SMEs from the MTC on Supply Chain Readiness. The Supply Chain Assessment tool is free to SMEs and is a high level landscaping tool designed to help companies focus on the key areas that they need to be a robust and resilient company with the aim of making them a strategic supplier and a successful profitable business. \nWe do hope you will be able to join us on 19 January.
