DESCRIPTION:Energy Transition is here – reports indicate political will\, technological evolution\, government investment support\, investor interest and commitment\, and project development and delivery have taken a significant leap forward. But little is said about how projects are delivered and the corresponding contracting arrangements. \nConstructing Excellence and ECI will be hosting a year long series of events to address the Energy Transition revolution and we welcome your participation! This session will be the second of the series with a focus on Effective Project Team Management. \nhttps://constructingexcellence.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Energy-Transition-final.mp4\nJoin us for the next session in this series\, which will focus on Effective Supply Chain Relationships. \nWe will explore the following questions so please bring your thoughts and suggestions\, ready to discuss: \n\nIn the context of energy transition\, what does the EC industry need and expect from the supply chain in the short and medium term?\nHas the EC industry\, typically\, fully utilised the expertise\, experience and competencies available from the supply chain and if not\, why not?\nIn terms of expertise\, experience and competencies\, what is the “gap” between what the EC industry typically obtains from the supply chain and what is needed and expected for energy transition (and conventional) projects?\nWhat needs to happen (change) in order for the EC industry to obtain what it needs and expects from the supply chain\, and can those expectations be expanded to maximise use of the expertise\, experience and competencies available in the supply chain?
