DESCRIPTION:We are very excited to invite you to our new home at BRE for our first Members’ Forum since the merger. The morning session will give us an opportunity to update you on all the exciting developments as well as giving you the chance to give your input into shaping the phase of our movement\, creating a stronger and more influential organisation which leads the drive to improve our industry. \nIn the afternoon we are particularly pleased that BRE has scheduled its annual VIP showcase event\, BRE Uncovered 2016\, to coincide with the member forum giving you a unique opportunity to experience the world class facilities in our new home first hand. \nThrough its 90+ year history\, BRE’s science-based research has led to the development of the products\, tools and standards used internationally to deliver a better built environment. Our unique full scale test facilities\, where this research is carried out\, are places that few have the chance to experience. \nWe invite you to join us and other leaders from some of the UK’s foremost built environment organisations for BRE Uncovered\, a special behind the scenes event that will demonstrate the diverse ways in which BRE works to ‘Build a better world together’ as well as meeting some of their people and experts. \nThe tour of BRE’s facilities\, led by some of their senior Directors\, scientists and experts will allow you to: \n\nfeel the heat from a demonstration fire in our Burn Hall\, part of Europe’s largest fire test labs\nlook down into the imposing BRE structures laboratory\, the facility which houses our full scale engineering tests\nexperience our wind tunnel\, key to developing a future resilient to climate change\nsavour the total silence in our vast anechoic test chamber\, possibly the UK’s quietest place\nhear about our expanding innovation parks\n\nand connect with friends\, peers and BRE experts over lunch and refreshments. \nBooking\nTo book your place please email colm.quinn@constructingexcellence.org.uk stating whether you will be staying on for BRE Uncovered
