Often ‘Fit out’ work (which makes office interior spaces suitable for occupation) has huge pressures to provide completely finished products which allow office staff to move in and work hassle free. Therefore, construction is very fast paced with large amounts of interaction between office staff and contractors to complete work.
The development of tangible management within Health & Safety for those working on our projects and the potential interfaces with building occupiers and the general public is key. We created Company Standards which evolve with review and data analysis which provide a minimum acceptable benchmark and are available to both staff and supply chain.
As Health and safety is our number one priority, we embraced the ISO 45001 Health Safety and Wellbeing standard, as an early adopter and the openings it provided at the earliest opportunity.
ISO45001 fits with our strategy to use technology to encourage an open and empowered culture, enabling our staff, clients, and supply chain to continually raise the health and safety bar.
To gain achievement with our Safety Standards and ISO45001 compliance we invested in development of a mobile App which is used to capture innovation as well as acceptable and unacceptable compliance.
We started the journey to develop through consultation with a wealth of construction/ management staff and some of our preferred contractors to develop this App.
