James has continually progressed since joining B+K in 2016, now holding a senior position driving the sustainability agenda throughout the regional business, with focus on improving on-site management, pre-construction assessments and developing relationships with key clients and consultants.

He manages Soft Landing processes, leads on Considerate Constructor’s Scheme initiatives and is a regional BIM Champion.

Additionally, James is the Design Manager for a £22m multi-disciplinary Metro and Bus Interchange, with public realm, highways and demolition aspects. James takes a prominent role in mentoring and education. In addition to mentoring internal colleagues, he is a Career Ready mentor and supports FE students and staff.

James is held in high esteem, not just within the industry, but has also garnered the respect of professionals and students through his work with the Energy Institute, as testified by Edward Walker’s supporting email. James continues to demonstrate his ability to lead, support and influence positive change with his collaborative working approach and sustainability knowledge. Already a highly valued asset, James is clear future leader.
