Help shape the future of the technical education system

Constructing Excellence

Opportunities for panels are: Digital, Construction, Childcare and Education, Engineering and Manufacturing, Legal, Finance and Accounting and Health and Science.

The Department for Education is seeking experienced industry professionals who would like to help shape the future technical education system. We are looking to recruit “T level Panels”, formerly referred to as panels of professionals that will co-design the new T level programmes. This will involve defining the content of the classroom based T level qualification and advising on broader programme requirements. This is an exciting opportunity, both for practicing industry professionals or representatives of an industry through a recognised professional body or trade association, to shape and improve technical education across England. The ambition is to develop technical education that genuinely prepares individuals for skilled employment with employers sitting at the heart of the system. The recruitment for the DfE T-Level employer panels is now live. These panels will feed in to the development of the new T-Level qualifications and initially will focus on the following sectors: Digital, Construction, Childcare and Education, Engineering and Manufacturing, Legal, Finance and Accounting and Health and Science. The deadline is particularly tight (21 August) so if you know anyone who might be interested, please feel free to share asap.
